clubs around the state. As usual, all have been accepted
graciously.
*We've worked with a woman from a neighboring community
along with a sister church. She has stopped dancing and has
pursued her career desire in the nursing field. She is a single
mom with 3 children and still needs our support and prayers.
*We mailed several boxes filled with hand picked gifts and
literature across the United States.
* We've encouraged and directed many others to resources in
their local communities as well as prayed for them.
* We've developed close friendships with other sister churches
across the U.S.
*We have now been assisting a woman from Canada so we
can say that we have gone 'National.'
There have been so many people who have introduced themselves to
us and who share their experiences and ministries with us that are very
similar to this one. We praise God for all of them that have been called
to do so! Each ministry/person are able to give the women hope that
there is another way. We tell all exotic dancers, prostitutes, porn stars
and escorts that it isn't as hard as they think it is as long as they have
helping hands and Christ to get them through their struggles.
* We've encouraged a 'hopeless romantic' (his words) that has
fallen in love with a woman who is an exotic dancer. He loved
and had a relationship with her before she ever started
dancing. A package will go out soon to this young woman of
his affection.
This year has been a year of helping all kinds of beautiful people. We
have encouraged atheist's, teenagers, alcoholics, drug addicts, people
in jail, others interested in doing this same ministry, porn stars and ex
-porn stars, professional models and men.
Interviews~with Kerry Pharr~Kerry has served as a professional boxing
manager, trainer, and promoter. He is the author of "Fight the Good Fight."

Updates
Since March, I completed 2 more classes towards my degree with souring
grades; I've raised up over $600.00 for a former prostitute that is struggling
to find another permanent job; I've helped a teenager get relief from
suicidal thoughts and tendencies as well as cutting; I've met a former
stripper that helped complete a DVD for Dan Martin that we have been
working on (coming soon); I've encouraged family members of exotic
dancers and have made several contacts with the dancers themselves; I've
reached out to a young exotic dancer who recently lost her best friend to a
drug overdose while only working in the industry for 3 days (you can read
the news article about this 17 year old girl on my my space page at www.
myspace.com/princessconnection); two former sex workers have
completed the process of salvation by being baptized into Christ; currently
trying to develop a preventative program designed for teenager's
regarding the sex industry; forming a team of individuals interested in
making a documentary about exotic dancing and that's about it, I think.
Christ Jesus receives all of the glory because he is the one that works
through me. He gives me wisdom, strength and vision on a daily basis
regarding this ministry for it is not mine, but his. Through his word, the
bible, I continue to learn how to live for him.
My next speaking engagement is at my home church during,
"Northwomen 2007." You can find out about Northwomen on our church
website at www.kalkaskachurchofchrist.com. You'll find it under the
ministry tab and then the women's tab. I will be speaking for one hour on
Wednesday, August 8th, 2007 at 1:00 pm. My prayer is to educate about
the sex industry and the effects thereof, tell a bit of my own story, explain
outreaches and show how this is a church issue. I hope to see you there.
On July 27 or 28th, 2007, I will be doing an outreach to 2 clubs in my area
as well as leaving a few brochures about Northwomen in a couple of adult
stores. Keep us in prayer. Our goal is to invite them to Northwomen to
here me speak!

It's been a long time, friends, since I've been able to update my website. I usually
keep things more current on my space page just because it's more convenient.
Since I've last posted here, I've been on the radio twice and done some training
events. I have most of the details in my blogs on my space page. Currently,
I've been asked to help with a music video by my friend, Dan Martin. He has
written and produced a 'new song' which he wants to make a music video to go
along with it about ministries who reach out to women in the sex industry. It's very
exciting and yet challenging at the same time. We have put all of the pieces
together except for finding one particular young woman to play a certain role.
Keep us in your prayers as we create with vision and glory for our father, the
KING. May this video be blessed as well as the song written by Dan Martin. Many
thanks to Dan for his encouragement and belief in sex industry ministries. Dan is
listed in my top friends list on my space.
I have two speaking engagements coming up this summer at conferences and I'll
keep you posted on where and when soon. I've also been asked to do a training
at another church sometime this summer! Praise the LORD!
I've been working with several women that want to leave the industry. Please

*This Fall is turning out to be very busy for me. Praise Be To God! On September
20th, I'll be attending Post Abortion Ministry Training at the Center For Ministry
in Saginaw, MI. Theresa Burke, Ph. D., founder of Rachel Vineyards Ministries will be the
presenter. I am a part of the Saginaw, MI's retreat team for Rachel Vineyards Ministry and I am
post-abortive. Rachel's Vineyard was a fabulous experience for me and a major part of my

*On September 28-29th, I'll be attending the 3rd National Prostitution Conference

*I have been totally blessed because I was a part of Northwomen 2006. The Main
Speaker was Pam Horton of Quanah, Texas. She's terrific! Our praise and
worship was Directed by our very own Windy Babcock of Kalkaska, MI. The
Theme for the Conference was "God Take control". I learned so much and felt
spiritually refreshed after this amazing event.
*Yours truly, Becky McDermont, lead a discussion group called "Loving The
Unlovely" where I shared my life and experiences with White as snow ministries
in detail regarding those trapped in the sex industry. I feel so blessed that I
was able to share with my sisters in Christ some of which were very naive about
this subject. (Thank God) I made many new friends and gained several new
prayer partners, gift coordinators and food preparation participants. At the
end of both sessions, I was received with hugs and kisses from each and every
women in attendance at the discussion group. These women filled my heart with
joy and love. Thank you to all that came to listen and to share. May God fill
your heart and bless you with joy and love as well for this is what it's all about.
*"Daughters of Destiny" will be distributed for free to the prisoner's Throughout our women's
prison system. It will definitely be available at the first Daughters of Destiny Tour outreach in
California During the month of October. This outreach will be inside 2 of the largest women's
prisons in the United States. Please pray that if it's gods will for me to be there, he will provide

- The Ladies and Gents~It's been almost a year since I've taken time
